Accessing Podiatry Services
If you are an NDIS participant you may be eligible for Podiatry services if your concern is directly related to your Primary Diagnosis. Your NDIS plan has to have therapy supports for daily living to access podiatry services. Devices like orthotics can be accessed under assistive technology. These devices will need prior approval by the NDIA and you will need an initial appointment to assess and determine the clinical need and which device is suitable for you.
We will assess your needs and discuss a management plan with you. If you are managed through the NDIA we will set up the administration during this appointment and a service agreement would be created as required. It is best if you send us a copy of your plan before your first appointment via email to info@bondipodiatry.com.au. This will give us an idea of how we can help you and we can then organise a service agreement in advanced. If needed, follow-up appointments will be booked for ongoing management and care.
Paying for appointments
Self-managed participants will need to pay for appointments on the day and a invoice will be issued for reimbursements.
Participants on an NDIA managed plan will be claimed through the NDIS portal.
If you have a plan-manager, you will need to provide their details prior to your appointment and an invoice will be sent to your case manager for payment.
